Preparing for your ZOOM session

If you are new to video session you can rest easy. The process is simple with few challenges or glitches. You will need high speed internet.  If you do not have Zoom loaded on your machine you will need to do that, or make sure the updates are done prior to the session.

For your session there is a special professional Zoom application that I use which insures privacy. Just before the session is scheduled to begin you will receive an email invite from me. On the invite you will be offered the option of video or audio session links. Click on the hyper link for video – at the top.  If you have questions, please ask.

The important factor for your video session is to make it as similar as possible to your in the office sessions. Therefore making time for preparation is important.
* Give yourself at least ten minutes prior to the session to relax. Imagine, driving in your car and having a few minutes in the waiting room before starting.

* Choose a quiet, peaceful location.

* Make sure you have physical and sound privacy and will not be disturbed during your session.

* Give yourself at least 10 minutes after the session to allow whatever feelings you have experienced to settle and integrate.

* Breathe
